The lavender fields of Castle Farm in the Kent Downs are spectacular during July. As you drive past you get a few quick glimpses of the vibrant purples and very conveniently there is a small parking area, free parking area at that, just opposite.
The farm is located in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, north of Kent just of the A20, near Shoreham. |

The Scent, Vibrance & Tranquility
Anytime you have some free time in the month of July, get yourself and the kids down to this fabulous family farm. The owners have a lovely little shop, The Hop Shop, which sells lots of lavander orientated products at really good prices.
Pick the right day and you could be in the middle of a lavender field all alone with the sun shining down. You can even get a massage in the fields!
