Denbies Wine Estate taken from The North Downs Way. Now I swear I saw a car park on Google Maps just off of the A42 in Dorking called the Stepping Stones Car Park, but when I arrived I ended up taking a turn into someones front garden. Lucky enough there are several free parking places around not to mention Denbies Wine Estate itself.
Once ready there is a gate leading west to the North Downs Way, Geo Location: 51.2490191,-0.3246196 Google Maps Link, from here you have a steady ascent through a forest adjacent to Denbies, eventually bending up and behind the estate itself. From here you get some very special views over the vineyard to Box Hill and the town of Dorking.

I'm a sucker for a crisp cold evening. I find the atmosphere adds something special to a photo, not in terms of visual like mist or fog, but more enhances the photo, the skies are sharp and vibrant, the ground is stiff and riged... Perhaps its a haze issue or the humidity in the air.
What I really like about this panoramic is the cresent moon in the sky, the opposite of a supermoon but the most noticable and prominent part of the shot. The eye is drawn to it.

I almost didn't take this shot while finally packing up my gear and heading back down the North Downs Way I took a turn and decided to walk through the estate instead, finally hitting this spot I took a few steps back and thought Mmmm... Several seconds of thinking 'Home' or 'Set-Up again'. One tip I can give is always go through the extra steps, the extra work as these shots can easily become your favourite.
