One of the best locations in London. The picturesque setting, the energy throughout the day and the vibrant characteristic evening relaxation. The memories this place holds for me is probably the reason I have such admiration for the area.
A lovely stretch along the River Thames around Richmond Bridge, shrouded by bars and restaurants, classic architecture dating back to 1716 with boats gently bobbing on the Thames. Richmond itself has an abundance of history and style and this shot I think emphasises that perfectly.
As you may have noticed I have a new camera and lens and my first shots with it had to be here, arriving during the golden hour and through to the blue hour makes for some very beautiful photos. I am quietly impressed with the Canon 16-35mm
F4 lens, the focal length and sharpness are 'droolable' - More tests needed!
